Lion’s Mane: a different fruiting-body extract was studied
A small double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover study in 18 healthy adults examined a single 3 g dose of a different 10:1 Lion’s Mane fruiting-body extract. After 90 minutes, one manual-dexterity test differed significantly from placebo. The study did not test Nutera Lion’s Mane Extract, a liquid 20:1 fruiting-body extract that lists 200 mg extract and 80 mg beta-glucans per 1 ml serving. This is context for an ingredient studied in another preparation, not clinical proof for the Nutera product.
